Ron Beckenfeld's journey in the vitamin industry began in 1964, selling vitamins from the trunk of his car. Driven by a lifelong passion for fitness, health, and wellness, he went on to found Continental Vitamin Company in 1969 with a mission to create nutritional products people could trust. In 1998, a personal family challenge inspired his next innovation. After watching his father struggle to swallow traditional vitamin tablets due to Parkinson's disease and a heart condition, Ron set out to create a simpler, more accessible alternative. That pursuit led to the development of Superior Source^® and its pioneering MicroLingual^® instant-dissolve delivery system—small, pure tablets designed to dissolve quickly without water and with minimal unnecessary ingredients.


Today, more than 60 years after entering the industry, Ron remains committed to the same principles that inspired him from the beginning: quality, innovation, and improving everyday health.
